"You and your crew did a major terra forming and drainage project at our summer home on Widewater Lane. You imagineered a project to drain the vast amounts of water that drains from the properties uphill from us and divert that water further downhill from us without disturbing any of our neighbors on Singing Woods Lane. You employed an engineering firm to make formal plans and drawings for the project to ensure everything would drain properly, you obtained clearance from the Country and City of Syracuse water authorities to ensure that our project would protect the lake as it is a primary water source for the City, and then your guided equipment per engineering drawings, terraformed and dug a network of four-foot-deep trenches filled with twelve-inch drainpipes surrounded by clean gravel all draining to an area that was prepared to receive a volume of water without damaging any other property.
